Pastor Rukiya Wright
Pastor Rukiya Wright a native of Atlanta, Ga. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University and a Masters of Art degree in Christian Education from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her late father, Apostle Charles Mathis, was diagnosed with cancer in 2006. Pastor Rukiya then began to prepare herself for the calling God had placed on her life to become a Pastor and succeed her father. She has traveled extensively across the nation on mission trips to Georgetown, Guyana and Surinam spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. She has been an ordained pastor for ten years at Emmanuel Light of the World International Church in College Park, Ga. She acts as the Lead Pastor of Emmanuel and Pure Love Girls founder at Emmanuel. Her passion for service and people still continues today. She is the wife of Pastor Charles Wright and the mother of her son CJ and daughter Charleigh Wright.

Pastor Charles Wright
Pastor Charles Wright is a worshiper at heart. Even before being born God called him to be a prophet to the nations. He has traveled the world extensively through the avenue of worship. He has been mentored by some of praise and worship most prominent faces; Minister Byron Cage, Elder Eugene Brown and Bishop Paul S. Morton. He is also a play write with his first production being "Christmas Cards" a story about the "cards" people are dealt in life and how we deal with them through our faith. His desire is to teach people that worship is more than just a song but a lifestyle. Charles also has a strong passion for youth and adults. He and his wife Pastor Rukiya Wright serve together in helping them learn their purpose and passions in life. He's also serves as a consultant(Charles Wright Consulting) for churches around the country in the areas of worship and structure. This is a calling God has graced them both with. Charles is the proud husband to Pastor Rukiya Wright and father to his son CJ and daughter Charleigh Wright.

Founding Pastor Carolyn Mathis
Pastor Emeritus- Carolyn Mathis, a native of Atlanta, GA. She was the wife of the late Apostle Charles Mathis, founder of Emmanuel Light of the World in College Park, GA. She is the mother of four beautiful girls; Angela Burris, Quiana Mathis, Khadija Mathis and Rukiya Mathis. She has two son in laws; Francis Burris (Angela) and Charles Wright (Rukiya). She also has two beautiful grandchildren; Lakyus and Brielle Burris. She was ordained as a pastor in 2000 by Apostles Henry and Ann Jones of International Apostolic Ministries Network. She is currently enrolled at Adersonville Theological Seminary in Albany, Ga pursuing a degree in Christian Counseling. Her late husband, Apostle Charles Mathis, was diagnosed with cancer in 2006 and went to be with the Lord in 2007. Pastor Carolyn immediately received her call to step into the role of pastor and she has been the senior pastor at Emmanuel Light of the World for seven years. Pastor Carolyn not only serves as a dynamic pastor but she also serves as a Chaplain and Volunteer Coordinator at Gentiva Hospice in Stockbridge, GA. Pastor Carolyn is a true woman of beauty, wisdom and leadership. She is compassionate about God's people and her life mission is to "bring men and women to holiness."

Pastor Angela Burris, a native of Atlanta Georgia, is married to Francis Burris and has two children (Francis) Lakyus and Brielle Burris. She earned two degrees from Clayton State University, an Associate degree in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Administrative Management. Angela is a Co- Pastor Emmanuel Light of the World International Church in College Park, Georgia, where her mother Carolyn Mathis is the Senior Pastor and her sister Rukiya Mathis is
Co-Pastor. Angela operates as Pastor of Administration/Outreach. She operates in the office of the Prophet and speaks the truth of God. She is a mentor to young adult women and the youth. Angela is an anointed praise/worship leader. She also serves on the solo ministry. Angela is considered as "the singing pastor". As a pastor, she travels preaching and singing the gospel of Jesus Christ while saving souls for the kingdom of God. Angela Burris ministry is geared towards restoring the lives of others. Helping people recognize who they are in Christ and move forward in God's plan and purpose for their life.
